Resolved Question: school i got left back in 8thgrade i want to be a freshmen with my?

ok well i lived in paterson nj and i got left back in 8th grade around the 2nd marking period they put on my report card will not be promoted due to over 21plus absent so my dad sent me to peru around march and when i came to peru the schools in peru just started in march 1st so i got transfered to a private school and instead of being in 8th grade they put me in highschool as a sophmore but in reality it is really 8th grade again but with high school work because in america elementary school is 1st - 8thgrade in peru elementary school is 1-6th grade and after 6th grade you start highschool so basically 7th grade is freshmen and 8th grade is sophmore so i was a sophmore in peru but i know if i go back this month im not going to be a sophmore but will they put me as a freshmen or do i have to be in 8th grade because there still in 2nd marking period and i have documents that i did study and im a american citizen ps: september 2010 i was suppose to be a freshmen but i was in peru studying so im going back this month january 2012 to see if i could be a freshmen !! ,,, please answers !!!...
